What is a Wiki?

See a great video and definition for a wiki from Ann Perry.

Take a look at the Wiki that Ann Perry created with her biology class. The instructions are on the front page. Notice the note at the top of the page, she was able to communicate with her class even though she was at a conference and not in school.
Biology Wiki

This was an assignment – students worked in groups to create a “textbook chapter” on various topics we had studied in Forensic Science – this was a mid term exam project.

Practice Editing a Wiki

Answer the following questions. If you think that an answer is wrong, EDIT the answer and correct it! Use the following links for help or google the answer! Of course, you may possess all the knowledge needed already to answer the questions! Tip: Whoever saves last will overwrite the previous. You can always revert to a previous version by going to the History tab at the top of the wiki. Try to work in groups for this so that we don't overwrite each other too much!
